Your dealer should have a tool that makes this easy consisting of Geringhoff part#'s 519041, 519042 and 519043. I have spoken with a couple of our field service techs and they are intrigued by your problem. We can't understand why heavy down corn would cause such damage. We have seen even steel fence posts go through the machine with little damage. Is it possible that the row unit hit a major obstruction? Regardless, we would like to examine the equipment failure. Would it be possible to inspect the unit? please email us at info@geringhoff.com. We'll have someone come out to your farm to inspect the machine. Also provide serial # of the machine for warranty purposes.
