I harvest  organic corn which leads to not so ideal conditions.  our bigs complaint with the heads we run now is header wear, slipclutch, and gearbox seal failure.  How does this header stand up in tough conditions

The Geringhoff corn head, both the Northstar and the Rota Disc, should stand up for the conditions you have.
Let me explain further, the row unit gear box has oil in them instead of grease, this means that the oil is lubicating the bearings and the slip clutch is also inside the gear box running in oil.
The gatheirng chains have a designed lug to give it more life then the OEM.
Geringhoff uses the Waltershied PTO shafts, best in the business.
The drives for the head has no chain cases ,only what we call the crown gear box and the miter gear box with a PTO running between them, this makes for excellent transfer of power.
I would suggest you go to product or Geringhoff University to find out more.
Thank you for the interest.
