Corn Heads
Our corn heads are built on various harvesting systems with options for your residue management. In combination with our accessories and add-ons for special harvesting challenges, we create unique combine heads with the highest attention to detail to meet the needs of every field, every crop, every year.

Corn Head Features

  • Corn heads powered by propriety precision aluminum gearboxes that reduce head weight and dissipate heat
  • Row units utilize individual CENTRA-FLEX® coupling shafts with shock-absorbing couplers to ensures backlash-free connection with no vibration
    • Allows the frame to flex while powering the row unit quietly and efficiently
    • Eliminates a shaft running from end-to-end on the corn head
    • Quickly and easily access individual rows without dismantling entire head
  • Self-tensioning gathering chains run on slip sprockets to provide overload protection for row units
  • Over 10 different gathering system and residue processing system combinations to fit any farm's needs
    • Conventional, wide-angle, and narrow row gathering systems
    • Chopping and non-chopping residue processing systems with knife roll, swinging blade, stover collection, and patented 3-roll vertical stalk destruction designs
  • Heads are available in a wide range of configurations providing superior harvesting solutions for every farm
    • Configurations ranging from 4 to 32 rows and 15” to 40” row spacing
    • Offer the only narrow row (15” row spacing) head on the market with dual gathering chains
    • Rigid, folding, AFT, and folding AFT frame options
  • AFT (Adaptable Flex Technology) frame has a central pivot point providing a +/-8° flex range to adapt to land contours and maximize yield potential on terraces and hilly terrains
    • AFT frame is available for most head configurations (30" row spacing only)
    • Folding AFT frame available for 12 and 16 row corn heads
  • Additional accessory options including:
    • ICF (Integrated Crop Flow) Sweeper for harvesting in extremely dry (even at moisture levels below 15%) and down corn conditions
    • Headsight® automatic head height control systems
    • Active and Passive sunflower kits with option sunflower adapter screen and frame extensions

Draper Heads
Specialty crops present a unique challenge to today’s heads. Heads that cut almost at ground level make the difference, minimizing losses and ensuring consistent crop flows. Geringhoff’s line of draper heads harvest while adapting perfectly to the field conditions for a razor-close cut.

Draper Head Features

  • Available in three ground-following models to meet your harvesting needs
    • ALL NEW! XFR (XtremeFlex Razor) - 50' draper with 3-section frame and 3-section reel flexes +/-7° (total 14° flex) to capture the crop others leave behind
    • TruFlex Razor - 3-section frame and 3-section reel flexes +4°/-5° (total 9° flex) for razor-close harvesting
    • Flex 30 - 30' draper with 1-section rigid reel and 1-section solid frame engineered for versatile harvesting
  • All drapers equipped with a flexible cutter bar prividing up to 6" of contouring travel
  • Hydraulic center knife drive requires less power and minimizes damage
  • Standard IAS (Integrated Air System) is the only fully integrated air system on the market with no external components that could damage crops
    • IAS delivers consistent air stream directly behind the cutter bar to gently blow crop back onto the belt
    • Third-party study by Norddeutsche Pflanzenzucht and the Thünen-Institut found that the IAS increased harvested crop by up to 40%
  • Additional accessory options including:
    • Large upper cross auger for harvesting canola
    • High stubble sensor kit
    • Variety of easy-change end divider options

Milo Heads
Harvesting grain sorghum requires a head that offers precision, flexibility, and time management. Geringhoff’s milo head is the only row unit on the market engineered specifically for grain sorghum, and is built for any crop condition including weather-damaged crops. Harvest at faster speeds, save resources on drying, and harvest at lower moisture without damage or crop loss.

Milo Head Features

  • Geringhoff is the only major manufacturer to offer a row head specifically for milo harvesting
    • Engineered to increases harvest efficiency and yield potential
    • Row type head reduces the amount of materials (other than grains) that go through the combine
  • Harvest lower moisture crop, down to 14%, without loss or shatter
  • Flat steel-top bonnets with specially designed row dividers use built-in crop guards and grain catch channels
  • Carbide-coated and triple-hardened cutting discs are powered by direct drive to cut through wet conditions
    • The left and right discs run with different speeds for optimal cutting
    • Cutting discs shear closer to the head of the plant for a clean, gentle cut on every stalk
  • High knife placement leaves behind taller stubble (approximately 6-10" longer) than other heads
    • Results in superior moisture retention and erosion control to provide improved soil fertility for future crops
  • Sustain higher ground speeds at harvest while maintaining maximum yield retention

Sunflower Heads
Sunflower harvesting is a sensitive job and the plants have to be treated with care to reap maximum results. It is the initial contact to the plant by the machine that makes the difference. Our tips are specially developed for gentle row independent sunflower harvesting to ensure the best crop yield.

Sunflower Head Features

  • Row independent heads utilize row-free technology for harvesting in any direction
  • Multiple sunflower head models to help improve your yield potentials
    • SunLite - designed to carefully harvest sunflowers using reliable mechanical drives that require less power than the competition
    • SunLite Horizon - dependable SunLite design with the addition of a horizontal swinging blade under the row units that chop the stalk leaving clean cut stubble and residue distributed evenly across the field
  • 7” wide trough-shaped collection plans are tapered to minimize crop losses
    • Integrated seed catcher prevents seeds from dropping to the ground
  • Shatter-loss grooves ensure maximum versatility for varying row spacing
  • Engineered to maximize yields at higher ground speeds (>6 mph) while gently harvesting heads and seeds
  • Slim side panels are gentle on neighboring crops to prevent damage and loss
  • Large adjustable 24” diameter feeding auger
  • Feeding roller clearance is independently adjustable to match conditions
