TruFlex Razor

Maximum Flex for Razor-Close Harvesting

The TruFlex Razor design provides the most flexible, ground following characteristics of any draper available today. Unmatched when harvesting on uneven terrain. Simple adjustments allow you to switch to rigid mode on the frame, the cutter bar or any combination of the two.

The TruFlex Razor draper with Integrated Air System raises the bar using a flexible frame, flexible cutter bar and flexible reel. The IAS delivers a steady stream of air at the cutter bar which gently carries the cut crop to the draper belt. The minimal distance from cutter bar to draper belt makes this an easy transition capturing more of your hard-earned crop.

Available in 35, 40, and 45 foot widths.

Superior Flexibility

Geringhoff's TruFlex Razor offers superior flexibility with a three-section flex-point frame and reel that provides a total flex range of 9°, or 4° up and 5° down. It also features a flexible cutter bar with 6 in of ground contouring travel. The result is an outstanding draper that adapts and minimizes losses in all harvesting conditions.

Features at a Glance

Geringhoff Advantages

From the frame and bodywork to the flip-over reel and cutting system, our draper heads are engineered to provide unmatched performance, reliability, countering, and flexibility in every field.

Features

Center Knife Drive

Center knife drive divides the cutting load by half to reduce torque load for an effective and power-saving cut. The hydraulic relief system helps prevent damage to provide long lasting performance.

Features

Flip-Over Reel

The lightweight flip-over reel feeds the harvested crop evenly and gently onto the conveyor belts. While its design allows for an unobstructed view of the middle of the cutter bar for perfect control and visibility. Reel tines are easily adjusted to accommodate changing crop conditions.

Features

Cutting System

Utilizing the Schumacher EasyCut II, the cutting system provides durable industry-leading performance with low maintenance. Knives are mounted alternately for less wear on cutting edges and guards - which are made of spring steel making them lighter while providing higher stability.

Features

Flexible Cutter Bar

Flexible cutter bar provides up to 6" of ground contouring travel. Six height control sensors distributed across the full width of the head allows the flexible cutter bar to cut nearly at ground level to increase yield potential.

Features

Belts for Crop Flow

Drapers utilize lightweight and robust belts instead of heavy augers for consistent flow into the combine. Deep belts are gentle with crops while our center belt - the widest on the market - increases crop flow in all conditions. Adjustable belt speed allows for quick and easy transition to different crop conditions.

Features

Narrow End Panels

Due to the center knife drive, the end panels have a width of only 4 inches which protects the standing crop at the cutting edge and losses are averted. Narrow end panels also make the wings lighter for quicker adjustment and closer ground following.

Features

Hydraulic Gauge Wheels

Precisely designed to be lightweight but sturdy, our draper frames are limber enough to roll on the ground yet tough enough to handle the demands of harvest. The hydraulic gauge wheels lift and lower the frame to follow the contours of the field and leaves behind a consistent stubble height.

Features

In-Cab Controls

A separate CG terminal allows the combine operator to easily monitor and change settings, like belt speed, from within the cab. Preventing harvest downtime and increasing harvest efficiency.

Conquer Any Crop in Any Field

Customizable to Fit Your Needs

No field and no crop is the same and specialty crops present their own unique set of challenges. That's why Geringhoff draper heads are customizable to fit your harvesting needs so you can conquer any crop in any field condition.

Crop Dividers

Geringhoff offers multiple crop dividers to meet different harvest needs. Thanks to a tool-free design, dividers are quickly and easily changed to adapt to any crop and field condition.

Key Advantages

  • Clean cutting edges
  • Helps reduce crop losses
  • Quick and tool-free design prevents downtime

Canola Kit

The optional canola kit allows an efficient and almost loss-free harvesting of canola and big crops. It consists of two side-mounted vertical knives and a large cross auger. The components are hydraulically driven and can be individually switched on or off.

Key Advantages

  • Optimal crop flow due to the large cross auger
  • Brightly colored side knives holder for optimal visibility
  • Reduce crop losses with side panel extension
  • Quick and tool-free change of side knives prevents downtime

Maximize Your Yields

Integrated Air System (IAS)

Especially sensitive crops that tend to produce volunteers during their final phase of ripening require special harvesters that feature the appropriate technology to minimize losses caused by seeds and pods that have escaped the reel. That's why our Integrated Air System (IAS) is available on both the TruFlex and TruFlex Razor draper heads.

Utilizing controlled airflow, our state-of-the-art IAS is precisely designed to maximize yields for sensitive crops. By blowing air in a controlled way, a large percentage of the seeds and pods that have escaped the reel are carried to the draper belt and feed to the threshing system.

Comparison

With IAS

Controlled air flow gently blows grains to draper belt.

Comparison

Without IAS

Grains are lost and scatter away from the draper belt.

Superior Solution for Sensitive Crops

IAS Advantages

  • Specifically designed for harvesting very sensitive crops
  • Maximizes yield by gently blowing dropping grains back to the belt
  • All airlines integrated in the head - no exterior lines to damage pods
