Geringhoff is looking for a Social Media & Video Coordinator to manage our social media accounts and videography. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts, ads and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.

Job Brief:

As the Social Media & Video Coordinator, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies, cameras, drones, and social media trends with a drive to continue learning the ever-evolving platforms and technologies. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle our photography, videography and editing, drone work, and social media presence ensuring high levels of customer engagement and web traffic.

Job Type: Full-time | Monday through Friday

Travel Requirement

  • The ability to be able to travel is required for this position
  • During the busy season (approximately June-November) this position will be required to travel an average of 1-2 weeks per month
  • May also be asked to travel for additional video/photoshoots and industry yearly events
  • Note: any required travel will be company paid and include pre-determined daily per diems for meals

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Social Media Marketing (preferred)
  • Proven, hands on experience in social media and content management
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
  • Background in shooting video or as a video editor with experience in producing and packaging video content that captures and engages
  • Experience with piloting drones a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe design and video editing programs - including but not limited to:
    • Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Audition, After Effects, and Lightroom
  • Familiarity with web design a plus
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Must be a team player willing to work cross-departmentally
  • Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines and changing project needs
  • Must be extremely organized, hard-working, and quality focused
  • Willing to grow, learn, and develop video and editing skills
  • Willing to attain a drone pilot’s license

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals - including:
    • Setting specific objectives for social media accounts tailored to their platform
    • Monitoring and reporting on social media traffic and key analytics
    • Monitoring competitors and generating comparison reports
    • Managing monthly social media spend budget and reporting on ROI
  • Create, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (original text, imagery, videos, etc.)
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries quickly, connect leads to appropriate department heads, and monitor customer reviews
  • Oversee social media account designs and implement new features to develop brand awareness and increase audience reach
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Create and edit videos for internal use, social media channels, YouTube, and more
  • Record, edit, and encode audio and video files
  • Perform media edits based on feedback
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Sales, and Product Support to
    • Ensure accuracy of information in social media posts, videos, etc.
    • Outline, schedule, and execute long-term projects
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, videography, design, and applications
  • Travel to farms to get in the field action shots to create compelling videos and testimonials of our products to be used for social media, website applications, and other marketing efforts
  • Travel to tradeshows and industry events as needed
  • Perform other duties and assist in other areas as needed
