Production Line Supervisor is responsible for handling cost efficiency, quality and safety throughout the manufacturing process. Position also works with other personnel to find cost effective and quality materials used in the process, constantly looking for ways to cut costs and streamline processes.

Primary Responsibilities
- Working closely with all aspects of management
- Supervising production line employees on shift – including monitoring absenteeism, job performance, and safety
- Working closely with Production Planner and Head of Production to understand production needs and priorities
- Understanding of the processes being performed
- Understanding blueprints, work orders, and work instructions to complete production specifications, requirements, and operation needs
- Providing guidance and direction to production line personnel
- Teaching and training individuals how to perform the tasks of their specific position within production line
- Communicating production goals and target dates with production line
- Observing operations to detect any problems or necessary improvements and changes
- Making decisions and solving problems
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- Associates degree in Manufacturing Process or equivalent experience
- Experience in a manufacturing supervisory role
- SAP experience is preferred or relevant experience using an ERP System
- 5S experience is preferred
- Communicate efficiently in English
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly, and logistics
- Thorough knowledge of all products
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings and specification efficiently
- Effective leadership skills
- Strong written and oral communication
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Must be able to problem solve and troubleshoot in fast paced environment
- Must be able to multi-task various responsibilities and prioritize
- Must be mechanically inclined and quality driven
- Must be a self-motivated, reliable individual
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must pass pre-employment screening
